TOWN HALL. “Tip Toes,” the BroadAvay stage success, to be seen at the Town Hall, Avent to England, turned motion picture and was brought back to America by Paramount. Dorothy Gish, Will Rogers, and Nelson Keys play “The Three Kayes.” The story noAv goes that A 1 and Hen, the third-rate vaudeA 7 illians, are dead broke in London. They plot to marry Tip Toes, their pretty dancing partner, to the wealth and title 'of one Lord Wiilliam Montgomery, innocent lordling, Avho falls in love Avith her. But vaudeville manners and back-stage slang soon arouse the objections of his lordship’s aristocratic family. International social relations crack! Gaol threatens. “The Three Kayes” plan one last fling: —then their getaAvay. The night of the party, Lord William’s yacht seems to A 1 and Hen to float in a sea of champagne. When the gaiety reaches its climax Lord Bill suddenly denounces “Tip Toes.” The truth is out, the jig is up. But “Tip Toes” loves truly by this time. She manages to convince his lordship of her love. That changes their whole lives. Usual prices. ROYAL. If you missed the recent Dernp-sey-Tunney fight, you can still see a prize fight on the screen that has all the thrilling moments, the colour and the excitement of the real bout. It occurs in “On Your Toes,” the Universal production at the Royal on Satiirday. It is the final big scene of the picture and is decidedly Avell done from every standpoint. Denny is an able athlete and he and Frank Hagney, Avho plays his opponent, contribute a great scene in this screen battle. “On Your Toes” is excellent screen entertainment and by far the best picture in Avhich the star has appeared. It is better than such of his successes as “Fast and Furious,” “I’ll Show You the Town,” “Skinner’s Dress Suit” and others. It will bring into the fold of Denny’s admirers any who are out of it, if any such there be. Prices 1/- and 2/-. Children half price.
