FOXTON MOTOR CYCLE SPORTS.

RACECOURSE ON MONDAY.

On Monday the Foxton United Sports Association’s annual motor cycle sports will be held on the local racecourse. The entries are particularly large and practically all the crack riders will be competing. The track is accredited as being one of the best in New Zealand, so some good riding may be anticipated. The recent rain has put the track in good order, and, given fine weather between now and Monday if should be in excellent trim for racing.

The Association has made special arrangements to cater for the public. Refreshment booths will be on the grounds and parking areas have been set aside for cars. Hot water will be provided for picnic parties. The Foxton Silver band will be in attendance to dispense a programme of music to enliven affairs. Arrangements in connection with running the meeting are well in hand and the public should enjoy a good days sport. Indications are for a large attendance.
