PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
A well-attended meeting of managers of the local Presbyterian Church was held last evening, presided over by the Rev. W, H. Nicholas. Routine business was transacted and a special vote of thanks was passed to the ladies of the congregation for the recent afternoon function. It was stated that he ladies had decided to hold a similar effort towards the end of the year. A men’s sub-committee was set up to carry out a social at an early date.
