The Southern Cross will carry out further test flights over Blenheim to-morrow morning. Lieutenant Ulm returned Avith Captain Buckley late this afternoon from Christchurch. PROSPECTS REMOTE, SAYS METEOROLOGIST. Wellington, Last Night. “Prospects of the aviators starting on their return flight across the Tasman are noAV rather remote,” said Dr. Kidson to-day, “and it is more likely to be about Tuesday before the weather settles down, if then. The pressure is noAV very low over the Tasman. The barometer at Hobart this morning Avas falling at 4 o’clock to as low as 28.85 inches. Strong northerly to northwesterly Avinds, reaching gale force in places, still prevail betAveen NeAv Zealand and Australia.”
