BOWLING.

OPENING OF THE LOCAL GREEN ON WEDNESDAY.

Wednesday of next week is the day set down for the official opening of the Foxton Club’s green and croquet courts. Given good weather the attendance should be large, especially in view of the fact that the green is this year showing great promise of being in good playing order. . . Bowlers and croquet players are reminded that the catering arrangements will be the same as of late years, viz., that each is expected to bring a basket. Members are requested to be on the green at 1.45 p.m. on opening day.
