This Metro-Gold-wyn-Mayer' picture, is a heartstirring sage of the clipper ships, and is one of the most gripping sea stories ever brought to the screen. Never has the star of “Ben Hur” been seen to better advantage. As the youngest of four sea-faring brothers, Novarro encounters terrific storms, imprisonment, mutiny, hand to hand encounters, and other thrilling adventures in a quest that takes him across the Pacific to Singapore and back again. With comedy and News at usual prices. “The Wizard,” a mystery detective drama, will be the leading attraction on Saturday at usual prices. ROYAL. An elaborate and dramatic photodramatization of one of the most thrilling mystery novels ever, published will be presented at the Royal theatre on Saturday. The picture is “The Chinese Parrot,” adapted from the Saturday Evennig Post story of the same name by Earl Derr Biggers and features Hobart Bosworth, Marian Nixon, Edmund Burns and nearly a score of other noted screen luminaries. It was directed by Paul Leni, ace of foreign ' directors who was brought to America a year ago by Universal.' His first American effort, “The Cat and the Canary,” created a sensation and his present opus is considered by many to be equally as great. Prices 1/- and 2/-. Children half price.
