WEDDING.
FOOTE—DUDSGN. A quiet Avedding Avas celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Palmerston North, on Tuesday, the contracting parties being EdAvard J. W. Foote, of Marton, second son of Mrs. C. A. Foote, of Wellington, and Margaret Josephine Dudson, second daughter of Mrs. Ellen Dudson, of Domain Street, Palmerston North, and the late Francis Dudson, of Foxton. The Rev. Father Hurlihy, assisted by the Rev. Father McManus, performed the ceremony. - The bride, Avho wore a pretty frock of salmon pink, entered the church Avith her mother. The bridesmaids were Miss Doris Whibly, wearing silk crepc-de-ehine Avith blue facings, and Miss Edna Dudson, wearing blue and Avhite silk. Mr. S. Dudson, of Foxton, was groomsman. After the ceremony relati\ r es were entertained at the home of the bride, Mrs. Ellen Dudson receiving the guests in a costume of black crepe-de-chine edged Avith beads. The numerous and costly presents Avere evidence of the popularity of the bride. The happy couple departed for the south by the Auckland express, the bride Avearing a blue ensemble costume with hat to tone. On their return Mr. and Mrs. "Foote Avill reside in Marton, Avhere the bridegroom is on the staff at the railway station.
