FIRE BRIGADE.

The.last competitions for the McMurray gold helmets took the form of a two-men coupling event and resulted as follows: — Fireman T. Fuller and Desjardines Ist; secretary A. Walls and Fireman Walsh 2nd. The Brigade is at present training to send a team to the U.F.B.A. Conference and Demonstration to he held at Hokitika in a few months lime.
