LICENSING BILL.
PASSES COMMITTEE STAGE. THREE-YEAR POLL, BARE MAJORITY, TWIO ISSUES. The House took the Licensing Amendment Bill through its committee stage after a prolonged sitting at an early hour this morning. The Bill provides for a twoissue ballot paper, determination bv a bare majority and a three-yearly tenure.
The third reading will be taken to-night.
