THE MANAWATU SEAT.
CHANGE IN UNITED PARTY’S .CANDIDATE. Mr. P. J. Small, of Kairanga, is to be the United Party’s candidate for the Manawatu seat in place of Mr. H. J. McManaway, who was previously announced as the official candidate. It is understood that Mr. MeManaway’s withdrawal is due to health reasons. Mi-. Taylor, of Levin, is the official Labour candidate and Mr. J. Linklater, the sitting member, will represent the Government.
