PRIME SATISFACTION. The secretary of the local Chamber of Commerce has received the following letter from the Prime Minister: — “I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 6th instant forwarding copy of a resolution passed by the Foxton Chamber of Commerce, in reference to the Ilaxmilling hold-up. I desire to thank the Chamber for their expression of appreciation of the efforts. made to bring about a settlement, and the Chamber will no doubt have noticed with satisfaction that as a result of the recent conference between the parties concerned the mills have now been reopened.”
