BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER’S STATEMENT. The treasurer reported as follows at Monday night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council: — During the month of August the sum of £578 11s 5d was received and banked as follows: —District Fund A/c. £576 13s lid, Cemetery A/c. £1 17s 6d. The ledger balances at the 31st August were as follows: —Accounts at debit totalled £709 9s lOd and were made up as follows: —Imprest cash £ls, gasworks £5lB 5s Bd, general £146 19s 7d, Hospital Board £29 4s 7d. The accounts at credit were: Rate arrears £97 9s 3d, cemetery £7O 19s lid, fixed deposit £IOO, drainage con. £B2 7s sd, heavy traffic fees £45 14s 2d, interest £773 4s od, library £97 8s Bd, reserves £64 12s sd, Town Hall £44 14s Id, Town Hall Pictures £292 Is Od, worker’s dwelling £29 11s lOd, waterworks £550 2s lid. SUMMARY.
