SPRING SHOW.

The Foxton Horticultural Society’s show this year promises to equal any previous exhibitions. The prize money and trophies total over £2O in value. In the cookery section, the cake made to Mr. A. E. Whitehead’s recipe will receive a first pidze of 10/6, second 5/- third 2/6. These prizes are donated by Mr. Whitehead, Mrs. T. Hughes and Mrs. Murphy. The seed cake and sponge sandwich also carry special trophies which are donated by Mr. A. E. Tongs. In the children’s cookery section, in addition to the first prize of 2/6 donated by Mrs. S. Easton, there will be a second prize of 1/3 in each class donated by Mr. W. Nye. Entrance in this section is free.
