THE FLIGHT OF THE SOUTHERN CROSS

COMMENCES TO-DAY. Wellington Last Night. A wireless message picked up from 2FC, Sydney to-night stated that the Southern Cross, as far as was known, would hop-off from Richmond aerodrome at 6 o’clock to-morrow. From the time the ’plane leaves Richmond 2BL will stay on the air and will broadcast the messages received from the ’plane until the Southern Cross has.reached its destination on Sunday. From 5 to 6 ft.m. (Sydney time) 2FC will keep up a service of messages from the ’plane for relay to Europe and also to America.
