FOXTON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.

The date of the Spring Show having been fixed for Thursday, September 13th, bulb growers are hoping for the best of weather to bring on good blooms. This year’s schedule, in addition to the usual bulb, cut-flowers, decorative and cookery sections, has two new sections, pot plants and school cookery. Several trophies and substantial points prizes will be awarded, in addition to the usual pxize money this society pays.

On the evening of the Show a musical and elecutionary competition for children of school-age will be held. An anonymous donation of £1 Is Od will provide prize money, while Mr. H. E- Garbett has donated a trophy for the competitor scoring the most points.
