SEQUEL TO A SHOOTING CASE.

Timaru, Last Night. In the Supreme Court before Mr. Justice Adams, Bernard Lewis Blackwell was found guilty of having, at Otaio, on May 11, been found by night without lawful excuse on the premises of William Alfred Ancell, the case being a sequel to a shooting case. Blackwell was placed on probation for 12 months, special conditions being that he should pay the costs of the prosecution, report to the probation officer monthly regarding income and expenditure, makes proper provision for his wife’s maintenance, takes out a prohibition order, keeps away from his wife’s relatives, and pays the damage to Barr’s house.
