The friends of Mr. A. L. McAllister will regret to learn that he is seriously ill in the Palmerston N. Hospital Mr. C. Evans, of Moutoa, met with a painful accident while digging on his father’s farm on Thursday. The spade completely severed one toe of his left foot and badly lacerated another. The injured man was removed to Foxton where lie received medical attention.
