* TREASURER’S STATEMENT. The treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council: — During the month of June the sum of £3,094 19s Od was received and banked as follows: —Cemetery account £lB, district fund account £3,076 19s.
The ledger balances at the 30th June were as follows: —Accounts at debit totalled £623 8s Bd, and were made up Us follows: Imprest cash £lO, gas works £586 2s Gd, general £27 6s 2d. The accounts at credit were: Fixed deposit £IOO, cemetery £7l 2s 7d, draipage construction loan £4O 12s, hospital board account £24 11s 2d, heavy traffic fees £lll 17s, interest £849 11s Gd, library £llß 6s 4d, reserves £22 3s 7t], town hall £56 17s sd, town hall pictures £242 13s 3d, worker’s dwelling £l9 11s lOd, waterworks £589 7s 7d.
