The Prime Minister has advised the combiued schools committee at Ruawai that. Cabinet has approved a scheme'for the centralisation of the schools in the Ruawai district, and has granted £7,428 towards jhe cost of erecting buildings and purchasing four buses for the conveyance of children. The Auckland Education Board has been authorised to proceed with the work, and the Post and Telegraph Department is purchasing suitable chassis for the buses. The buses will be driven by assistant teachers. The school will lie built oil an education reserve of 30 acres at Whanuanui and / Ararua schools, school. The Rauwai, Nauniai, Raupo, adjoining the (existing and the present Raupo school will be disestablished.
