PRICE OF BENZINE.
Hamilton, July 4. Criticising benzine prices at a meeting of the Hamilton Automobile Association last night, Dr. Waddell said that benzine sold for Is 114 d in England cost just twice that rate here in New Zealand, which was no further from the producing field, where the price had been declining, while the local price was rising. The meeting discussed the Souths. Canterbury plan of co-operative buying of benzine, and decided to send an enquiry to the headquarters of the Auckland Association.
