TOWN HALL. “The Spotlight” is the story of a colourless country girl who was transformed into a brilliant stage star and personality. She became the boast of the town, but she was forbidden to hint that she had been anything else but a star all her life. Esther Ralston plays this part, and looks as bewitching as a brunette as a blonde, and she is both in this picture. “The Spotlight” is the starring picture at the Town Hall Cabaret next Wednesday. Neil Hamilton is leading man. “Toddle” (Comedy), and Magazine. Cabaret prices. Ted McNamara and Sammy Cohen, the comedy team of “What Price Glory,” will be featured on Friday next in “The Gay Retreat.” Usual prices.

Mary Astor and Gilbert Roland are the featured players in a fine drama “Rose of the Golden West,” at the Royal on Wednesday evening. Victor Hugo’s literary .masterpiece “Les Miserables,” has been filmed on the actual scenes in France and will be presented as a 12-reel special attraction at the Royal on Saturday next.
