REMARKABLE ESCAPE FROM DEATH.
Auckland, Last Night
A youth named Jack Morgan, had a remarkable escape from death at Devonport at 9.30 on Sunday morning when a ton motor ran over the apron of the vehicular ferry wharf and fell on to a motor launch and then slipped off into 15ft. of water.
Morgan, who was in the cab of the vehicle, was carried under the water, and was rescued with difficulty.
