EDUCATION BOARD
The monthly meeting of the Wanganui Education Board was held last night.
It was decided to recommend to the Department that the purchase money for sale of old school residence at Foxton, he transferred to the local committee for ground improvement purposes. The architect (Air. Hodge) and Air. Hornblow reported upon conferences held with the Bainesse and Clydesdale school committees and it was decided to apply for a grant to provide a. teacher's residence at Bainesse and that the erection of :i school at Clydesdale be made a matter of urgency.
The. Foxton committee is to be supplied with particulars and conditions re evening technical classes.
