PRICE OF SUGAR.
REDUCTION ANNOUNCED. Auckland, June 19. A reduction of 10s a ton in the price of all grades of raw and relined sugars is announced by the Colonial Sugar Company, Limited. The reduction takes effect to-mor-row, and under the hew scale the wholesale price of No. 1A sugar, the popular table sugar, will ho £22 10s a ton. This is the second reduction of 10s made this year. Last year the price was reduced in four stages from £25 10s to £23 10s a ton.
