PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH SOCIAL.

The second of the winter series ol socials, organised by the Ladies’ Guild,,' was held last evening, the committee responsible being Mesdames Perreau, A. Ross, Thomson, Haydock and J. Ross.

Despite the very cold night, there was a very good attendance and a most enjoyable Line was spent in games and competitions, and musical items. A pleasing feature of the evening was tho singing of Miss N. Scadden and Mr. Couch. The accompanist for the evening was Miss Patterson. Two competitions for the younger folk were won by Phyllis Tongs and Dick Haydock, and lan Nicholas. A. tasty supper was dispensed by the hostesses and before dispersing all joined in singing Auld Lang Sync. The next social will be in fill V-
