BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER’S STATEMENT,
The treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council:—
During the month of May the sum of £1296 18s 4d was received and banked as follows District Fund A/c. £443 3s 4d, Shannon Bridge Loan A/e. £BSO, Cemetery 'A/e. £3 15s Od. The ledger balances at the 31st May were as follows: —Accounts at debit totalled £1348 10s 8d and were made up as follows:—lmprest Cash £lO Os Od, gas works £622 7s lOd, general £632 15s 2d, Hospital Board A/e. £4 12s Od, interest £69 19s 3d, reserves £8 16s sd.
The accounts at credit were: — Cemetery £155 10s Id, Drainage Construction Loan £73 12s Od, heavy traffic fees £BS 8s 6d, library [£lo6 Is 9d, Town Hall £56 17s sd, Town Hall Pictures £225 0s Bd, worker’s dwelling £l3 6s lOd, waterworks £267 18s 7d.
