NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
Our readers are reminded that Tuesday next is the final closing date for National Dairy Show entries, both general and poultry. Those that have not receive prize schedules and who are desirous of assisting the event with entries should at once get into touch with the secretary, P.O. Box 85, Palmerston N*. The space is now being rapidly booked up, and the indications are that an extraordinary large advent of visitors will be in Palmerston North.
The Railway Department reports that news from the North with regal'd to the “Farmers’ Special” is exceedingly favourable, also that special inducements are being offered to school committees to send children along at special school picnic rates. Show matters are moving rapidly now, and with the great influx of visitors Palmerston North will be a thronged town for that week.
