WHAT TO DO
If you want to be popular.— Make as little effort in that direction as possible. If you’ve got the hump. —Try to feel that round the next corner something wonderful is awaiting you. If you want to look smart. — Take great pains with your hair, your shoes, and your gloves, and wear the simplest dress possible, of one colour. If you want to relieve your feelings.—Yield to any impulse you may happen to have. If you want to be free from worry. —Save your money. If you want an ideal holiday. — Choose a place as unlike your home as possible. If you want to squash somebody. —Laugh at them. If you think you’ve found tho right man. —Experiment until you’re sure!
If you want to keep thin. —Never wear tight clothing, depend on your own muscles to keep yourself erect, and maintain a good figure. Don’t take too much violent exercise. Have nothing to eat for long periods.
