TOO INTOXICATED TO DRIVE A CAR.
Auckland, May 28. Thomas Williams, aged 23, was fined £25 at the Magistrate’s Court to-day and his motor driving license was cancelled for 12 months. Williams pleaded guilty to a charge of being intoxicated while driving a motor-car. Sub-Inspector McCarthy said accused had a slight collision with a tram late on Saturday night. He was not drunk, but was too intoxicated to be driving a motor-car.
