SURPRISE FOR MISSING FLAXCUTTER.
HEIR TO PROPERTY. At Thursday’s meeting of the Manawatu Flaxmillers’ Association a letter was received from Messrs Brandon, Ward and Hislop, a Wellington firm of solicitors, enquiring the whereabouts of a man named John Dobson, who was a one-time scutcher in the Mana watu district, and whose whereabouts are now unknown, he having inherited some property under his sister’s will. None of the members present knew Dobson, but the hope was expressed that the publicity given the matter through the press would result in the man being located.
