PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

SOCIAL EVENING. A very enjoyable social, arranged by the Ladies’ Social Guild, was held in the schoolroom last evening. The hostesses were Mesdames Nicholas, Woodham, C. King, and Miss I, Patterson. Thero were amusing competitions interspersed with musical and elocutionary items. Those contributing to the programme were Misses Paterson and Symons and Mr. Hornblow. Miss Delany officiated as accompanist. Competition prizewinners were Misses McEwen, Sewell, Mrs. Symons and Messrs Hussey and Hornblow. Mr. Nicholas presided, and a very tasty supper was provided at the conclusion. The socials are to be continued throughout the winter months.
