TREASURER’S STATEMENT. The treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council: —' During the month of April the sum of £594 5s Id was received and banked as follows: —.Cemetery Account £3 10s Od, District Fund Account £590 15s Id. The ledger balances at the 30th April were as follows: —Accounts at debit totalled £997 15s 9d and were made up as follows: —Imprest Cash £lO 0s Od, gas works £540 8s 4d, general £373 15s 6d, Hospital and Charitable Aid £4 12s Od, Interest £6B 19s lid. The accounts at credit were: — Cemetery £166 2s lid, Drainage Construction Loan £73 12s Odj heavy- traffic fees £B7 6s 6d, library £lO2 8s 9d, reserves £B9 10s 10(1, Town Hall £97 13s 4d, Town Hall pictures £136 15s od, Worker’s Dwelling £l2 10s 6d, waterworks £3OB 10s Id.
