Dr. C. W. Peach was appointed consulting obstetrician to the maternity hqrne at Thursday’s meeting of the Palmerston North Hospital Board.
The condition of Sir Charles Skerrett, Chief Justice, who underwent a serious operation at Wellington on Tuesday last, continues to be satisfactory.
Sir Janies Wilson was re-elected chairman of the Palmerston Hospital Board at Thursday’s meeting. Sir James has occupied the position for over a quarter of a century and his unanimous re-election met with hearty applause.
