THE NAPIER SEAT.
EX-FOXTON RESIDENT LABOUR NOMINEE. Napier, May 7. As a result of a ballot of the Napier branch of the Labour Party, Mr. W. E. Barnard, barrister, if Helensville, was chosen as the Labour representative to contest the Napier seat at the general election.
Mr. Barnard was, some ago, a resident of Foxton, and was in partnership with Mr. R. Moore, barrister and solicitor.
