MOUNTED CAMP.

The weather is anything but favourable for the Mounted Camp on the racecourse. An advance party have been busy erecting tents, etc., for the past few days, and last night the storm made things unpleasant for the men. The men will arrive in camp today.

The buildings on the racecourse will be used for accommodation purposes if the weather continues boisterous.

The racecourse, owing to the sandy nature of the soil, will be much more comfortable for both horses and men than if the camp were held in other parts of the district.
