KILLED BY FALLING TREE.

Taumarunui, Last Night., John Michelanch, who was employed on contract bushfelling lat Ongarue, was killed this morniing by a falling totara tree which vyas blown down by the wind. > Deceased was sleighing posts, at the time and his mate observing the danger when the tree fpll called out to him to jurp aside. The warning came too late. Miehelaneh was struck by the tree and so severely injured that;. he died within haif an hour. Deceased leaves a wife in, delicate health and four children, all under the age of 14. ,
