FINAL DAY OF MANAWATU MEETING.
The Autumn meeting of the Manawatu Racing Club was concluded at Awapuni on Thursday in glorious, warm weather. The totalisator handled £22,689, as against £25,016 on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £47,030, compared with £45,275 twelve months ago —an increase of £1755. Results: — Kairanga Hurdles, 12 miles.— Vexatious 1, Mount Marta 2, Braeman 3. Time 3.11 2-5. Lockwood Hack Handicap, six furlongs.—Moa Bird 1, Moutoa Wonder 2,. Callanmore 3. Time 1.14 2-5. Tamatete Handicap, lp miles.— Mandane 1, Hynanna 2, Tresham 3. Time 2.5 2-5. » Stonyhurst Handicap, seven furlongs.- Royal Damon 1) Kilperon 2, Duke Abbey 3. Time 1.26 2-5. Twenty-Fourth Manawatu Stakes, six furlongs. — Cimabue 1, The Hawk 2, Raasey 3. Time 1.13 2-5. Cloverlea Nursery Handicap, five furlongs.—High Disdain 1, Kaihoro 2, Concentrate 3. Time 1.2 2-5. Boi-ough Handicap, six furlongs. —Mr. F. J.
