The Labour Social Club will hold a shop day on Saturday, 21st inst. All kinds of cookery, sweets, and vegetables on sale. In order to provide cheap travel by rail for those who have been unable to take advantage f) f the reduced fares during the summer period, the Railway Department is providing the concession for two weeks early next month. Particulars of the Holiday Excursion fares are advertised in to-day’s issue. The period covers the schools’ term vacation.
