RUGBY FOOTBALL.
On Saturday a team representative of the Foxton Seniors journeyed to Oroua Downs where they met the Downs Seniors in a friendly game. The home-team was victorious by 9 points to nil.
The following (players are requested to be in attendance at the practice shed on Thursday evening at 7, when senior and junior teams for Saturday’s games will be selected: —
(Seniors. —Andrews (2), Krishanko, Thompson, Royal, Taylor, Fuller, Biu-dis, Westwood, Huff, Robinson E., Moses, Hirini, Keriana, Pine, Harrison, Proctor, Reid. . Juniors. —Walls, Taylor, Stevenson, Broad, Hartley (3J, Huff, Wright, Findlay, Thompson, Williams, Lee, Doel, Newton, Rankiiq Heta> Anderson, Hirini.
