MR. MILL ARRIVES AT AUCKLAND.

FORCED LANDING AT KAWHIA

Auckland, April 15

Mr. D. Mill, who left Wellington on Saturday in his Moth aeroplane, accompanied by a passenger, was compelled to make a forced landing at Kawhia, owing to weather conditions. Mr. Mill made a good landing on the beach. He continued his flight to Auckland this morning, and reached his own flying ground in time for lunch, after a very bumpy journey, owing to the prevalence of air pockets. After leaving Poxton on Saturday morning where he picked up Mr. P. C. Hay, the flight was continued and a brief stop was made at Hawera. After leaving Hawera a head wind was experienced.
