BOWLING.

At a meeting of Committee of the local Bowling Club it was decided to hold a pairs tournament on the last day of this season, April 11th. One Foxton rink, consisting of Ross, Heyes, Christie and Thomson (s) will take part in the North Island Tournament to be held at Palmerston North during the Easter holidays. A further match for the Nye Ferns created considerable interest on Wednesday last, when teams skipped by Barr asd Walton respectively played for possession of the trophies. After a good game Barr’s rink were successful by a margin of two points.
