MOTORING FATALITY.
PALMERSTON RESIDENT. KILLED. Palmerston North, March 25. A motor accident in which Ar Butzback, a baker, of Palmerston North, was killed, occurred at Aokeutere on Saturday afternoon. Butzback, accompanied by his wife and son, went out in the afternoon for a motor drive, Mrs. Butzback being at the wheel. When on the return journey the ear .stalled on the Aokautere Hill all the occupants got out <y£ ttie car to see what the defect was. Mrs. Butzback and her son helped deceased, who was partially paralysed, into the car again, when suddenly the machine started, and in the space of a. few seconds it had gone over the bank, toppling down a gully and landing on its wheels, with deceased underneath. As? quickly as possible he was extricated and a doctor was sent for, but before the doctor arrived Butzback had died.
