HEENEY AND DELANEY,
New Zealanders will eagerly avvait the result of the Heeney-De-laney encounter, which takes place in New York to-night (the result should arrive in New Zehland tomorrow afternoon), and followers of the fistic art throughout this country sincerely hope that the popular fighter from Gisborne will be successful.
In meeting Delaney, Heeney has been set the hardest task of his career, and if 'he is crowned the winner, a match with Gene Tunney for. the world’s title is practically assured him.
Delaney is an exceptionally ver boxer, possessing an abundance of science and skill to an extraordinary degree, and this, combined with a powerful punch, makes him an extremely dangerous opponent.
