THE LATE MRS. HART.
The funeral of the late Mrs. Thos. Hart took place yesterday afternoon and the large number present testified to the esteem in which the deceased was held. Prior to the funeral an impressive service was hekl in the Gospel Hall, those taking part in the service being Messrs S. H. Burroughs (Palmerston N.), T. Brewer, and A, Wycherley (Ashhurst). Mr. Brewer, after reading certain portions of appropriate Scripture made feeling reference to the Christian life and character of deceased, which should have a consoling upon those left to mourn their loss. At the graveside the service was concluded by Messrs George Hart (Palmerston N.), Burroughs and T. Brewer.
The casket was covered with beautiful floral tributes.
