Jack; blackboard steward: C. Proctor; protest committee: club committee. The committee ' discussed the question of providing seating accommodation for the sports and it was decided, to erect temporary seats for the occasion.
To-morrow evening at 7 o’clock three relay teams from the camp will try conclusions with Foxton representatives in the local baths. Napier’s best swimmers will be present and some good races are anticipated. The Club regrets the delay experienced in getting the events oU last week, but this was unavoidable, owing to the men from camp arriving back late after a day’s “shoot” at Himatangi. The Napier Battery will not be shooting tomorrow and anticipate being able to leave camp at 6.30 p.m., which should enable the sports to commence at 7 o’clock sharp.
