LEVIN LEVEL CROSSING FATALITY.
DEATH OF MR, EYES.
Herbert Wilmor Eyes, the second victim of Friday’s level-crossing accident at Levin, died in the Palmerston Hospital on Saturday morning. The funeral of the two victims of the tragedy at Levin—Mr. and Mrs. Eyes—took place on Sunday, the cortege being one of the largest in the history of Levin, where the deceased were so well known and widely esteemed. The bodies were laid in a common grave and.the service was conducted by Rev. J. C. Davies, of the Anglican Church.
