FOXTON’S POSTAL SERVICE.

A SATISFACTORY ARRANGEMENT. Mr A. Dawson, Chief Postmaster, of Palmerston N., visited Foxton yesterday and in company with the local Postmaster (Mr. J. Newton) interviewed people in connection with the new postal arrangements. It was explained that the midday arrival of the south mail was now reverted to instead of its arrival at 1.30 p.m. The second south mail would arrive at about 6.30 p.m. instead of 8.45 p.m. and the afternoon south mail would close at 3.30 p.m. instead of 3 p.m.
