PERSONAL.
Miss A. Holst, of Wanganui, has been appointed a substituted assistant on the staff of the local District High School, and will take up her duties on Monday. Miss Holst completed her course at the Training College last year. After a decade of service as rector of St. Patrick’s College, Wellington, the Very Rev. Father T. A. Gilbert, S.M., M.A., is about to retire. The retiring rector’s successor will be the Rev. Father B. J. Ryan, S.M., M.A., who is now vice--rector.
