TWO CYCLISTS KILLED.

AN UNWITNESSED ACCIDENT

Hamilton, Yesterday.

A fatal collision occurred about 10 o’clock last evening on the To Poiokoroire road, between motorcycles ridden by Norman Edwin Castleton (18) and John Woodbnrn Young (19), a cheese-maker employed at Te Poi factory. Both riders died of injuries.

Young was riding toward Te Poi and Castleton was proceeding to Patetere from Te Poi when the accident occurred. No one witnessed the impact.

Help was not long in coming, and both men were conveyed to the Waikato Hospital. Young died before the institution was reached, and Castleton succumbed this morning. Both men were Single. Young was a son of Mrs. Geoffrey Young, of Rukuhia, and Castleton was a son of Mr. Louis Castleton, farmer, of Paterere.
