SUMMER TIME ACT.
PROTEST BY LEVIN DAIRY COMPANY DIRECTORS. The disabilities experienced by farmers under the operation of the Summer Time Act were discussed at the monthly meeting of the directors of the Levin Dairy Company, Ltd., on Tuesday, and the folloAving resolution was passed: — “That the Directors of the Levin Dairy Company, Limited, protest against the continuance of Daylight SaA-ing, as we consider it is not .in the best interests of the farming community.” This action, taken after Avhat may be considered a fair trial of the system by the dairy farmers confirms a resolution passed at the annual meeting of shareholders of the Company, in July, when the Bill Avas before the House. —(Chronicle.
